Thirst Staff Report
This beautiful pint glass will be available in taprooms statewide on April 6 for Colorado Pint Day. Anna Long, graphic designer and marketing manager at Copper Kettle Brewing Co., designed the glass.
She said the artwork honors the 125th anniversary of Colorado Parks and Wildlife, which manages the state’s 42 state parks, more than 300 recreation areas and numerous recreation programs.
“A Great Horned Owl represents the parks as they are found in every state park within Colorado, while a Park Ranger stands tall overlooking the land they so dearly protect,” Long said. “From walking the state parks to brewing the perfect pint, let us raise a glass in supporting those that keep Colorado wild.”
Copper Kettle plans to brew a special beer to mark Colorado Pint Day. And many other Colorado breweries will offer glasses, stickers and special beers for the occasion.
