Photographer Dustin Doskocil captures the beauty of Colorado’s mountain lakes, and the peacefulness of ice fishing in the dead of winter. Like any angling adventure, hardwater fishing doesn’t require excessive gear, although one can certainly up their game with electric augers, shelters, heaters, fish finders and more. Before dropping a line, always drill test holes for depth, and carry safety equipment. For specific needs, visit the Colorado Parks & Wildlife site. Click here to check out more of Doskocil’s work.
