Breckenridge Brewery is opening its third Colorado location in Fort Collins and is inviting fans of the brewery to celebrate with a Pour Party.
Breckenridge Brewery Pouring Party
Noon to 7 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 17
1020 E. Lincoln Ave., Fort Collins
The new location is in the former Sweetwater Brewing Co. and Fort Collins Brewery site, just a keg roll down the street from famed breweries such as New Belgium Brewing Co. and Odell Brewing Co.
Kicking off the new location on the right foot, the brewery is welcoming the Fort Collins community to come out for a free First Pour Party starting at noon Saturday, Aug. 17, at 1020 E. Lincoln Ave.
The Pour Party will feature some exclusive beers, such as a special commemorative beer brewed just for the special opening. Attendees can also get a 16 oz. limited edition crowler featuring artwork by Brooks Engel of Nowhere Land Supply. For each pint sold, Breckenridge Brewery will donate to the non-profit Project CURE, which provides medical supplies to communities in need.
Craft beer connoisseurs can also enjoy some unique beers crafted by head innovation brewer Jimmy Walker, which were made specifically for the Fort Collins community.
In addition to pouring exclusive Breck brews, the party will feature live music, local food trucks and vendors. Never Summer, Zeal Optics, and Rovr Coolers products will also be given away throughout the event..
The new location for Breck Brewery includes a full-service restaurant featuring a menu created to pair nicely with its craft beers made by head brewer Ryan Joy.
"Born and raised in Colorado, I've spent twelve years honing my craft across Northern Colorado's brewing landscape—from intimate taprooms to large-scale production,” Joy says. “My teams have earned top honors at the Great American Beer Festival and World Beer Cup, including a recent World Beer Cup bronze. I'm passionate about creating beers that blend innovation with tradition and I will bring the same philosophy to our new Breck Brew location in Fort Collins.”
Breckenridge Brewery, which launched in its namesake town, has been pouring beers for Colorado over 30 years. They also have a campus in Littleton with music venues, dining and brewing operations.
The new 10,000-square-foot Breckenridge Brewery will employ 40 people. Breckenridge Brewery is known for staples such as Avalanche Amber Ale and Agave Wheat. They also create a mix of unique seasonal, barrel-aged specialties, and classic go-to beers.
Tilray Brands, Inc., a cannabis lifestyle and consumer packaged goods company, bought Breckenridge Brewery from Anheuser-Busch in 2023.
