Take your staycation to the next level with these beer-themed hotels and packages
By Kristen Kuchar
Colorado is a much-loved destination for beer-inspired travels. From visiting breweries and completing beer tours to attending beloved beer fests and other beer events, it’s the place to get your suds on. Whether you’re traveling to the Centennial State to explore the beer scene or are a Colorado resident looking for a brew-centric staycation, these hotels won’t disappoint.
The Source Hotel | Denver
Upon check-in at The Source Hotel in Denver, guests receive a welcome beer brewed on-site just steps away in New Belgium’s 2,000-square-foot brewery on the ground floor of the hotel. Take a stroll to the 8th floor to check out the 50 oak aging barrels and 48 drafts. The Woods is the hotel’s rooftop restaurant featuring New Belgium brews incorporated into the dishes. Try the wings brined with Mountain Time Lager, and 1554 Black Lager mustard for the soft pretzel. The beer list is divided by beer brewed just 200 feet below at the hotel, beer brewed at New Belgium in Fort Collins, and beers from other Colorado breweries, including Ratio, Dry Dock, Avery and Elevation.

The Crawford Hotel | Denver
The Crawford Hotel offers beer-themed spa services with its partnership with The Beer Spa. This package includes transportation to The Beer Spa, where two people will have a 90-minute session in a private beer therapy room consisting of a beer bath hydrotherapy and full-spectrum infrared sauna. It also includes two beers at the spa (or wine, cider or kombucha), an in-room seasonal beer, beer tumblers, and a bottle opener. All guests of the hotel, whether booking that package or not, can enjoy one craft beer per day at the Terminal Bar from 5:30pm-6:30pm, which serves more than 25 Colorado craft beers that rotate seasonally.
The Elizabeth Hotel | Fort Collins
Guests that book the Brewery Package at The Elizabeth Hotel receive two beers at check-in, revolving local brewery swag such as stickers and bottle openers, and a growler (to take home) designed to be filled at one of the 20-plus nearby breweries. Luckily, the hotel offers a 10-minute walk or less to New Belgium, Crooked Stave, Equinox, Prost and Coopersmith’s. Any beer enthusiast would love to stay in the hotel’s Beer & Bike Suite. Picture a beer pong table, beer tap, full-size beer fridge, an extra-large private patio with a fire pit and TV, and beer-themed décor, such as a bottlecap backsplash and neon signs. The three dining and lounge options within the hotel all offer an eclectic variety of local beers, as well.
The Hotel Denver | Glenwood Springs
This Glenwood Springs hotel, built in 1915, offers a Room with a Brew Package that includes a $20 gift certificate to Glenwood Canyon Brewpub, along with a reduced rate for every night of the stay. The brewery is located on the ground floor of the hotel and is a family-friendly spot serving a variety of burgers, sandwiches and pub favorites. You’ll find a variety of award-winning year-round, seasonal, and barrel—project beers, along with guest taps, too.
